The local housing sales data is in for October. We are still in a seller's market locally for both Anderson and homes across the county.

In Anderson, median sales price was up almost 10% over last October, with an increase of price per square foot by 4%.

Looking at the County on the whole, Median prices are up almost 3% from last year, with a 2% increase in price per square foot.

Here are the September numbers for Madison County and MOST of the City of Anderson (incorporated and unincorporated areas w/in Anderson, not included; partially annexed townships not included). Numbers are September this year over September 2023.

As you can see, we have not experienced the housing declines seen nationally in Madison County or Anderson. Price for square foot is up in Madison County 7.2% and a whopping 26.1% in Anderson, median sales prices are up 12.1% and 9% respectively, our inventory and listings are actually SUBSTANTIALLY lower and average days on market remain low; both indicating we are still in a strong seller's market.
