COOLING CENTERS ARE AVALABLE.
Cooling Centers function autonomously and will notify EMA or COAD of changes to their policies or procedures.
The following COOLING CENTERS have verified their participation:
Anderson First Church of the Nazarene – 2324 Jackson Street, Anderson
Hours: 9 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday
Wi-Fi provided. Bathrooms are open along with water and vending machines.
Anderson Public Library – 111 E. 12th Street, Anderson
Hours: Sunday, 1 PM to 5 PM Monday -Thursday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday & Saturday, 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Free Wi-Fi, free public computer access, public seating, reading materials, water fountains, and restrooms
The Elios Center – 601 Meridian, Anderson
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8 AM – 4 PM Water, and snacks provided.
Breakfast 7:30 AM, Lunch 12 PM noon, Dinner 5 PM
Lapel Branch Library –610 Main Street, Lapel
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM
