- Know how to shut off your water
- Open cabinet doors to allow warmer airflow to pipes
- Keep a small stream of water running to avoid freeze

If your pipes do freeze:

- Shut off water immediately
- Thaw slowly with warm air
- Do not leave space heaters unattended
- Check for cracks and leaks after turning water back on

IHCDA is pleased to offer up to 18 months of rental assistance to eligible households through the Indiana Emergency Rental Assistance ( ) program. More than 25,000 Hoosier households have received rental assistance, and applications for new households are still being accepted.

Eligible households will continue to receive an initial payment which includes payment for past due rent, late fees, and an additional payment of three months of forward-facing rent, up to the maximum of 18 months. Households with months of assistance remaining after their initial payment will be prompted, via email or by logging in to their application portal, to recertify for additional assistance by completing the recertification form online.

A Flood Warning has been issued for Madison County until 8:43PM EST Saturday Feb 19 by the NWS INDIANAPOLIS

Be on the lookout for roads affected by high water! The heavy rain conditions of 1-2 inches are likely with higher amounts possible in certain areas means there's a high probability for flooding. Remember, if you encounter a flooded road DO NOT drive through it.
