If you own a cat, you know the pain and agony that you feel when they walk across your keyboard. If you don’t own one (like myself) then you know the pain and agony you feel when you hit a button by mistake, curse a few times, and start praying Google can fix the problem for you.
Cats I’ve heard have a knack for basically hitting those same buttons (sometimes even more of them). Here are some great tips on resurrecting your computer from the dead after the mysterious buttons have been pressed one way or another.
Take a screenshot – ever done that by accident? Now it’s no longer an accident – you just have to hit Windows+Shift+S.
All of the sudden, Sticky Keys is turned on. Did you know that if you hit the Shift key 5 times, Sticky Keys is enabled. Need to turn it off? Tap Shift another five times 😊
Need a really easy fix? Turn off Keyboard Shortcuts entirely in your settings. Now, if you accidentally hit something (or your cat walks across your keyboard), things like Sticky Keys will not have the ability to turn on!
