This one was such a fun one for me.

The Bourgue family is planning their move to Texas next year after their daughter graduates high school, with the goal of being closer to family. They’ve been searching for the past few months for the right place to call home when that time comes, and I truly enjoyed getting to know them, figuring out exactly what they were looking for, and helping them find their first home in Texas!

They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead for their family.

We did hit a few bumps toward the end of the transaction, which is also a good reminder of just how important that final walkthrough before closing really is. A few items were not completed quite as expected, but we were able to work through everything and negotiate a solution that put a little extra money back in my clients’ pockets at closing.

That’s exactly why you want someone in your corner all the way through the finish line.

I can’t wait to officially have the Bourgue family here in Texas next year — and I’m hoping all this hard work earns me an invite to one of those crawfish boils! 🦞
