Congratulations to our wonderful first time buyer on her new home!
We sat down mid summer to discuss purchasing next spring. Managing expectations is important so we talked about wants, budget and the overall purchasing process. Which can seem a little scary when it’s your first time. We left off with following up with a lender and keeping an eye on the market, she was also encouraged to stop into a few open houses, to get a better idea of what was most important and get comfortable with touring homes, let’s be honest, if walking through other peoples homes is not something you do often, it can feel a little awkward at first. I assured her I would be her roller coaster buddy through the whole process!
Flash forward just a couple weeks later when I got the message…I went to an open house and can’t find any reason not to like it! We scheduled a private showing the following day. We decided to write an offer, received a counter offer and ultimately agreed upon a purchase price just under the list price (🙌🏻) After a great home inspection, we cruised right through financing and she got the keys last week! While I promised to be a roller coaster buddy- this ride never left the kiddie zone, a dream transaction!! Wishing all the best to this first time buyer- I cannot wait to see how you make it your own!
