Hives and Hematomas! 🤯 🐾

Just never a dull moment with Jake!

After having 13 teeth removed a few weeks ago, he’s now dealing with hives and a painful ear hematoma. Thank God I caught it quick, vet put him on steroids, his head shaking has almost stopped and he’s catching up on some well-deserved rest from being up most of the night before. 💙

The good news? Jake earned a 5 out of 9 body condition score, which is considered ideal (who knew?!) Losing those 13 teeth has actually helped his appetite!

He’s gained two pounds and now weighs a solid 40 pounds! 💪

My champ is cozy in his blankets, soaking up love and hopefully dreaming of adventures that don’t involve the vet again! 😂 🐾

Did you think I forgot to tell you? 😉 🏡

NOT A CHANCE! For everyone who followed the transformation of my Randolph listing, I've got wonderful news:

WE CLOSED!! 🎉💃🏻

Nearly a year after the work began, this chapter has finally come to a successful close!

What started as a challenging renovation became something much more complicated.

This was an estate sale and as the process unfolded, legal and estate matters surfaced that needed to be resolved before we could move forward. We temporarily took the property off the market to address those issues.

The complexity was beyond the scope of our GO service, so I stepped in and personally committed the additional resources needed to help move the process forward.

There were professionals to coordinate, difficult questions to work through, unexpected obstacles, and plenty of moments when patience and persistence mattered just as much as real estate expertise.

A mortgage broker referral partner recently described me with one word: TENACIOUS.

I think this transaction might be a pretty good example of why! 💪🏽

Sometimes the most important work in real estate happens long before you reach the closing table, and often, it's work nobody sees.

On October 13th, we finally crossed that finish line! 🎉

🎃 Jake takes his neighborhood research seriously.

We were heading back from an appointment yesterday when these Halloween decorations stopped him cold. Full-on fascination mode.

His look back to me clearly said: "Excellent use of inflatables. Would mark if you'd stop." 🐾👻

Sunday morning is made for breakfast or brunch. I love both. ☕🍳

I started experimenting with make-ahead breakfasts so I could have something ready in the fridge to grab & go and Holy Moly, a stash in the freezer is even better.

So I tried a Julia Child-inspired formula, with one little tweak on the dairy: half & half in one batch and evaporated milk in the other.

One batch was spinach, Swiss & onion.
The other was red & green pepper, onion, smoked ham and a Mexican cheese blend.

Delicious!

Apparently, now that I have friends & family staying at RoseBud, I need to start making breakfast for a small inn. 😂🌹

Honestly… I may be okay with that.

I can't let this day end without sharing this moment with you
October 10, 2025 → October 10, 2026 🌹

One year ago today, I walked into this house to help a client with a real estate decision. I never imagined six weeks later I'd be buying it myself!

Life has a funny way of handing us blessings when we aren't even looking.

A year later, SeaRose is coming along beautifully. Lots of work completed, plenty more to do, and so many ideas still taking shape.

These pictures aren't quite a before and after. They're more of a before and during! 🏡

Tonight, exactly one year later, I'm sitting on my couch watching the sun set over Ipswich Bay.

I'm so grateful for this unexpected chapter of my life. 💖🌹
