We can’t wait!

Big changes are coming to Angel Fire Resort for the 2025–26 ski season. Seven new runs will debut this winter, including the resort’s first-ever double black diamond trails designed for advanced skiers seeking challenge and adventure. Intermediate and expert skiers alike will find new blue and black runs to explore, expanding the mountain’s variety and terrain.

The new Rakes Rider Lift, honoring longtime team member Dan Rakes, will open first, improving mountain access and snowmaking capabilities. A second lift, Angel Express, is scheduled to open in summer 2026, further expanding frontside terrain. With new lifts, trails, and snowmaking upgrades, Angel Fire Resort is entering an exciting new era of skiing and riding in the Southern Rockies.
