✨ LIVING LOCAL IS BACK! ✨
A few years ago, I started a little video series called Living Local because I believe something pretty special happens when we choose to support the people who live, work, dream, and build right here in our own communities.
So I’m bringing it back. ❤️
And what better place to start than Muckalee Creek Boutique in downtown Angier?
I’ve always loved the story behind this little local business. Muckalee Creek is a family-run boutique, founded by mother/daughter duo Tara and Caitlin, and their love for fashion—and for their customers—is evident the minute you walk through the door.
They offer trendy, affordable women’s clothing, denim, dresses, shoes, accessories and styles for a variety of sizes, including curvy. But what really stands out is the personal experience. This isn’t just shopping—it’s being welcomed in, getting honest opinions, finding something that makes you feel good, and supporting people who have chosen to invest in our community. 🩷
And that’s exactly what Living Local is about.
Because when you shop local, you’re not just buying a shirt, grabbing lunch, hiring a service, or visiting a small business.
You’re supporting somebody’s dream.
You’re helping keep our downtowns alive.
You’re creating opportunities for families.
You’re building relationships.
And you’re investing in the place we call home.
So over the next few weeks, I’ll be bringing back some of the Living Local videos I made a few years ago—and introducing you to some of the incredible small businesses that make our community what it is.
Some of these videos are a few years old, but the message is still the same:
Know your local businesses. Know their stories. And when you can… choose local. ❤️
