Breaking real estate news out of Urbandale. Home values just went up and it has nothing to do with granite countertops.

Buc-ee’s announced its first Iowa location is landing right here in Urbandale. That means bathrooms clean enough to eat off of, and brisket sandwiches at 2am if the mood strikes.

If you already own a house near the new location, congratulations, you now live in a five star neighborhood with a gas station that has its own fan club.

If you are thinking about buying in Urbandale, I would not wait around. Nothing moves a market like 120 fuel pumps and a wall of beef jerky.
