My fourth transaction with this family. I love these kids. They know what they want and they make it easy for me. That doesn’t mean the whole thing went smoothly, but Cody kept his head in the game and his eye on the prize. He found a great home, got his offer accepted in a multiple offer situation, and then called in the big gun -Mom! After a full overnight shift, she drove here, cleaned and polished, threw away, stored and staged his townhome. With four other units in the association for sale (some since April), we priced it right and blasted out marketing. Within a few hours, we accepted an offer. He closed on and moved to his new home. However, his buyer’s lender wasn’t familiar with our market, a late decision on some buyer grant money, some title issues that popped up for common names, a city flood, renegotiated for compensation for the delays, an extra HOA that didn’t even exist anymore, more lender delays, some personal setbacks and then, voila- we made it! As a realtor, it’s my job to grease the tracks and keep the train moving, but it always helps when you have a seller like Cody along for the ride!
