Hobby Lobby is continuing its Texas expansion with plans for a new ground-up retail store in Anna.

The new location will be built at the northeast corner of Hwy 75 and Rosamond Parkway and includes the ground-up construction of a 55,072-square-foot single-story building. The project carries an estimated investment of $5.5 million.

Construction is scheduled to begin on November 15, 2026, with completion targeted for August 30, 2027.

The project represents another addition to the arts and crafts retail chain's growing presence across the state.

Van Alstyne ISD earned both the Cream of the Crop Award and the USDA Foods Challenge Award.
