If you’re new here… hi, I’m Michelle! 👋🏻

Realtor, retired Navy wife, mom of two young-adult boys, house matchmaker, design lover, foodie, traveler… and happiest when I’m somewhere near the water. 🌊

After years of military moves, our family eventually landed in Maryland—and somewhere along the way, Maryland became home. ❤️

Those moves taught me something I still believe today: home is where you land and what you make of it.

Now I get to help people all across Southern Maryland and Anne Arundel County figure out what home looks like for their next chapter—especially homeowners thinking about selling and making their next move. Three years ago, we found the perfect little townhome to call home. 🏡

People think we sell houses.

In reality, we professionally solve 47 bizarre problems a day while making everyone feel calm enough to sleep at night.

And honestly? We’re very good at it.

Yes, that’s over $4M pending or closed this week.

What you don’t see behind the cheers is the Wander Homes group text:

— sellers refusing to make agreed-upon repairs in the 11th hour
— VA loan assumption logistics
— appraiser showing up a day early and letting themselves in
— solving an EMD delivery from a buyer literally on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean
— finding insurance for a 20-year-old roof
— figuring out who owns the abandoned city lot next door
— illegal fence in a protected conservation area
— county plans for school redistricting
— gas fireplace scopes
— interior design help for a past client renovation
— estate planning and yard sale promotion
— carpenter bee treatment
— well shocking
— post-occupancy agreement security deposit disputes
— coordinating a structural engineer to answer the “can’t we just knock that wall down?”
— USDA appraisal process
— writing an offer in a sketchy Royal Farms parking lot
— shared road maintenance agreements
— coordinating 5 inspections in a tenant-occupied house
— and approximately 700 tiny fires put out before lunch

Meanwhile, I’m welcoming home my college kids, coordinating airport pickups, and stocking my kitchen like a football team is moving in.

Also lucky enough to squeeze in a Compass 30A retreat where I got to hang with some of my favorite realtors by the beach 🌴

This is a story of how perseverance pays off 🎉

After months of searching, a couple of false starts, and trusting the process… they finally found “the one.” 🏡✨

Sometimes the perfect house is right under your nose. While it may only be a few miles from where they lived before, it’s an entirely new lifestyle.

Mornings walking the boardwalk, stopping by the bakery for coffee, and evenings spent grabbing Hershey’s ice cream by the water 🍦☀️

They’ve officially found their forever home, and I can’t wait to watch them make it their own and see her glow up over the years ahead.
