🌊 OCEANS CALLING IS CANCELED. OCEAN CITY IS NOT. ❤️
Well…this one hurts.
Oceans Calling 2026 has officially been canceled for the entire weekend because of the nor’easter, high winds, flooding, tides and conditions that have made it impossible to safely finish building the festival.
And I know there are A LOT of disappointed people sitting in hotel rooms and condos in Ocean City right now thinking…
NOW WHAT?!
You came to the beach. You took off work. You booked the room. You traveled here. You were ready for three days of music.
So before you pack the car and head home…
STAY. ❤️
Ocean City is so much more than one festival, and there are hundreds of local restaurants, bars, musicians and businesses that would LOVE to have you this weekend.
So consider this your:
🌊 “OCEANS CALLING GOT CANCELED… NOW WHAT?” LOCAL SURVIVAL GUIDE
First and most importantly, BE SAFE. This storm is no joke. Please stay away from floodwater, rough surf and areas officials tell you to avoid. Some outdoor entertainment may also change at the last minute because of the weather.
But when it’s safe to venture out, we have options. LOTS of them.
🎸 FRIDAY NIGHT: WE STILL HAVE MUSIC!
Seacrets has an absolutely PACKED schedule tonight:
🎶 DJ Davie • 2–8 PM
🎶 Lights Out By 8 • 5–9 PM
🎶 Vertigo Red • 9 PM–1 AM
🎶 DJ J-Spinz • 9 PM–2 AM
🎶 DJ E-State • 9 PM–1 AM

And Saturday they’re currently scheduled to do it all over again with Vertigo Red, DJ Davie, DJ Connair, DJ J-Spinz, Party Till Dawn, Lost in Paris and a Lunasea Glow Party.

Shenanigan’s has Mike Brill Friday AND Saturday.
Skye Bar has Margot & Valerie tonight, plus happy hour from 3–6 PM.
Captain’s Table has Phil Perdue, “The Piano Man,” Friday and Saturday night.
Harborside has DJ Billy T tonight.
And don’t forget local music staples like Beach Barrels, Bourbon Street on the Beach and Crawl Street Tavern.
PLEASE check each venue’s social media before heading out because schedules can change with this weather! Current local calendars still show a bunch of this entertainment happening.
🍹 HOW ABOUT AN UNPLANNED OC HAPPY HOUR TOUR?
Because when Mother Nature cancels your music festival, we improvise. 😂
Current specials around town include 2-for-1 drinks at Angler from 3–6 PM, happy hour at Skye from 3–6 with $1 oysters, drink specials at Alley Oops from 4–6, and plenty more throughout town.
Grab an Orange Crush. Find some crab dip. Order the oysters. Sit somewhere warm and dry. Tip your bartender well (please).😊
You’re on vacation anyway.
👨👩👧👦 GOT THE KIDS? WE’VE GOT YOU TOO.
This might actually be the weekend to discover all the stuff in OC that you normally skip because you’re too busy sitting on the beach.
⛳ Old Pro Golf - 68th Street has a fully indoor, two-level Undersea Adventure mini golf course and is currently open until 10 PM.
🦁 Old Pro’s 136th Street location also has its fully indoor Safari Village course.
🎳 Ocean Lanes Bowling Center gives you good old-fashioned bowling and is open until 11 PM Friday and Saturday.
🕹️ AlleyOops Midtown has an arcade, mini bowling, food, drinks and a shark tank. Kids entertained + parents fed = WIN.
🔐 Captive Escape Rooms Midtown Ocean City and Captive Escape Rooms Downtown Ocean City are perfect for getting your entire festival crew together and seeing who is actually smart enough to get you out. 😂
🤸 Ocean’s Playhouse in West Ocean City is an indoor playground for the younger crew.
🤯 Ripley’s Believe It or Not! is another indoor Boardwalk option and is currently open until 9 PM.
And there’s even an Ocean City Ghost Tour tonight from 7:30–9:30 PM, currently scheduled through the Life-Saving Station Museum.
🏈 AND SUNDAY? FIND A BAR AND WATCH SOME FOOTBALL.
Seacrets has NFL Sunday scheduled from noon–11 PM, and Buxy’s Salty Dog is hosting its Steelers crowd Sunday.
Make some new friends. Argue about football. Eat wings.
It’s practically an Ocean City tradition.
❤️ BUT HERE’S THE PART I REALLY CARE ABOUT…
Thousands of people came to our little beach town this weekend expecting something completely different.
The festival being canceled is heartbreaking for the fans, but it’s also a huge blow to the bartenders, servers, musicians, restaurants, shops and small businesses that prepared for one of their biggest weekends of the year.
So if you’re already here and it’s safe to stay…
STAY.
Eat local.
Drink local.
Listen to a local band.
Shop local.
Tip generously.
Explore a part of Ocean City you’ve never seen.
And maybe instead of the weekend you planned, you’ll have one of those completely ridiculous, unexpected beach weekends you’ll talk about for years.
Because the festival may be canceled…
BUT OCEAN CITY IS STILL CALLING. 🌊❤️
