Horse friends and friends of horses. The Navy is looking to turn the farm I'm at into a solar farm. They are holding a community meeting at the farm on July 30th and I would love to have a many people from the community there as possible. Feel free to wear pink or purple to support De Novo Farm

Please join us for a community opinion forum regarding the Navy converting the Dairy Farm in Gambrills into a solar farm. This would affect not only De Novo Farm, but the UMD Extension office, MD Sunrise Farm, Fair Hill Farm, the local 4H, the Master Gardens, as well as many people who live in the area and enjoy the open space. Please RSVP at the info on the flyer if you'd like to speak on behalf of the community at the meeting. De Novo will also be holding an open house that day at our barn if anyone wants to stop by before the meeting and see what we are about
