This fall, the Anthem Community Council (ACC) has two great events on the calendar:
🛍️ Market in the Park | Weekly
Shop local vendors offering handmade goods, home décor, clothing, treats, pet products, local honey and more.
🎃 Autumnfest | November 7–8
One of Anthem’s favorite traditions returns with arts and crafts, live music, food, a carnival, pumpkin patch, Rotary beer garden and plenty of family fun.

Nine years ago, we took a little road trip to Cornville, Arizona with Dick's sister Rhonda. We couldn't resist stopping for the 🌽 obligatory "Cornville" photo, and it still makes us smile every time we see it!
Since August is National Corn Month, here's a fun Arizona fact: while most people think of Iowa when they think of corn, Arizona grows an impressive sweet corn crop of its own. July and August are peak season, with local farmers harvesting delicious yellow, white, and bi-color sweet corn enjoyed all across the Southwest.
It also happens to line up perfectly with our 💦 monsoon season. A little rain, plenty of Arizona sunshine, and suddenly sweet corn is at its flavorful best.
