As a home inspector, one of my jobs is helping homeowners understand the difference between something that needs attention and something that’s perfectly okay. This sweet opossum mom and her little one are a great example. Opossums are generally shy, beneficial neighbors that help by eating insects, slugs, snails, and other pests. Because the baby is already on the Momma’s back, they should be moving along fairly soon.
