❤️ Sometimes you sell a house. Sometimes real estate gives you family.

💻 2022 — Vanessa was my BUYER.

Vanessa found me through my website while living in Idaho. She was ready for a change and ready to move her entire life to Florida.

So… her Florida Realtor flew to Idaho.
In December. ✈️❄️😂

🏕️ 28-foot trailer
🏔️ Snow-covered mountains
⛓️ Chains on the tires
🧊 Black ice
⚙️ Downshifting and hauling mode
🚫 Closed roads, unsafe passes and detour after detour

🗺️ Google Maps said 39 hours and 2,824 miles.

Reality said… nearly TWO WEEKS. 😂

Somewhere along those 2,824 miles, though, something changed.

❤️ We started as Realtor and client. We arrived in Florida as family.

Over the next four years, Vanessa showed me exactly what family means.

🌀 When hurricanes hit Florida and we had no cell service, Vanessa was at my house before the sun came up—with chainsaws and gas—ready to help.

That’s Vanessa.

Her loyalty, love and friendship have forever imprinted on my soul. What started with a random click on my real estate website became one of the most meaningful relationships this career has ever given me.

🏡 2026 — Vanessa became my SELLER.

Last month, I had the privilege of selling the Florida home that represented this chapter of her life.

And this time… she went back home. ❤️

Talk about full circle.

🔑 2022 — I helped my BUYER leave Idaho and come home to Florida.

🏡 2026 — I helped my SELLER close her Florida chapter and go back home.

That closing was bittersweet.

As her Realtor, I was so happy to get her where she wanted to be.

As her friend, I wasn’t ready to see her go. 💔❤️

🚧 Parrish is growing and here’s what you need to know…

🛣️ A potential new I-75 exit is being studied. FDOT is currently studying a new interchange at Valroy/Lightfoot Road in southern Hillsborough County, along with an extension of Fort Hamer Road to connect with it. Allowing this proposed exit will serve a much wider area and likely bringing future commercial development with it.

🎓 SCF Parrish is making progress. If you’ve driven down Fort Hamer Road, you’ve probably seen construction underway! Phase 1 is expected to open in Fall 2027 with a 40,000-square-foot multipurpose building featuring workforce programs, general education, collaborative study spaces, and administrative offices.

🏫 Bradenton Christian School’s second campus is moving forward. The private K–12 campus is planned to include three entrances, modern sports facilities, and dedicated spaces for the arts. The future Carter Road connection to Harrison Ranch Boulevard, a new roundabout, and the planned widening of Erie Road will all help support traffic flow around the campus.

✏️ Rye Ranch Elementary School is officially open. Located at 18450 Legacy Preserve Drive, the new K–5 public school opened for the 2026–2027 school year and can accommodate up to 969 students.

🛍️ Home Depot and CVS have walls up! After hearing about these projects for so long, it’s exciting to finally see them becoming a reality.
