A Day in the Life of a Realtor…

Spring is starting to peek through 🌷 and today’s been a mix of soaking that in and working on my CFSP (Certified Full Service Professional) training.

Between everything lately—busy days, getting over being sick, and always having my work bag and laptop nearby just in case—today felt like a good balance of slowing down and still moving forward.

Seeing my tulips starting to come up was a little reminder that growth is happening, even on the quieter days 💛

Always learning, always growing… for me and for my clients.

A Day in the Life of a Realtor…

One of my favorite signs that spring is finally here 🌷

After everything lately—busy days, work, and getting over being sick—it felt really good to step outside and see my tulips starting to come up. It’s the little things.

This is your reminder that even in the middle of the chaos, there are always small moments worth slowing down for 💛

Also… yes, my work bag and laptop are never far away 😂 always ready in case something comes up!

A Day in the Life of a Realtor

Today started with going through a few things in the basement to list on Facebook Marketplace — just trying to clear out some space.

I took pictures of these, posted them, and as I was putting them back on the shelf… I noticed a name on the back.

After a few messages and phone calls with my mom and mother-in-law, we realized something kind of crazy — it’s very possible that my grandma and my mother-in-law’s stepmom were part of the same retirement group and spent time together regularly.

Such a small, unexpected connection from something as simple as cleaning out the basement.

It’s funny how things come full circle like that. Real estate is all about connections, and sometimes life just reminds you how small the world really is.

Definitely not something I expected to find today. 💛

A Day (or two) in the Life of a Realtor

Yesterday we headed to Sheboygan for our oldest nephew’s wedding shower 💛

After celebrating, we spent some time at the hotel pool (which was definitely a highlight!). Then today, before heading home, we made a stop at Lake Michigan to take in the views.

It was one of those couple of days that was just full — family time, a little fun, and making memories together.

And of course, I always have my work bag and laptop with me… because you never know when something might come up. I was able to check in on a few things and stay connected, while still being present for these moments.

Real estate fits in around real life — and that’s exactly how I want it.

Back to the routine now, but feeling really grateful for this time away. 🌊💛

Right now, I’m (re)reading 168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think—and it’s been such a good reminder that even a few pages here and there still count.

Some days I get a chapter in…
Some days I’m too tired and don’t open it at all 😅

I’ve always loved reading, but like a lot of things in life, it doesn’t always make it to the top of the list. Lately, I’ve been trying to give myself permission to just pick it up when I can—no pressure.

A Day in the Life of a Realtor

Wednesday mornings are for being in the office!

This is my time to catch up on things, work on my marketing, and reconnect with people I haven’t talked to in a while. We also have our office meeting and mastermind, which is always a great way to stay in the loop and keep growing.

On the real life side of things… I’m finally starting to feel better from the sinus infection (thank goodness!), but then I somehow scratched my eye earlier this week. And of course, I made it worse by wearing my contacts yesterday — because I really don’t love wearing my glasses unless I absolutely have to.

So today, it’s glasses, eye drops, and taking it a little easier on myself.

Just another day of balancing real life and real estate. 😅💛

A Day in the Life of a Realtor

Today was still a pretty rough one with this sinus infection — every time I moved, it felt like my head reminded me to slow down.

Between naps and trying to take it easy, I was still able to get a few things figured out for a client. Nothing big or exciting, but those little steps still matter and help keep things moving forward.

This is one of those behind-the-scenes days that people don’t always see. Real estate doesn’t stop, but sometimes it just looks a little slower and a little quieter.

Hoping I’m on the upswing now… fingers crossed. 💛

A Day in the Life of a Realtor

Today started a little earlier than I would’ve liked… around 4:30am finishing up my sourdough bread — and of course, Millie decided that meant it was time for her to be up too.

After that, I spent some time at Menards (I pick up a couple shifts there — a little extra income and the discount doesn’t hurt either!).

Then it was home for a nap, followed by a trip to urgent care… turns out this cold decided to turn into a sinus infection.

And now, ending the day watching this one enjoy her creative side — painting, focused, and completely in her own little world.

Some days are busy, messy, a little exhausting… but still full of these little moments in between.

Real estate fit in where it could today — a few messages, a few check-ins — but mostly, today was about just getting through the day and soaking in the moments that matter.

Hoping tomorrow is a little less eventful. 💛

A Day in the Life of a Realtor

I was talking with a new buyer this afternoon — someone an agent friend referred to me — and of course, my “assistant” made sure she was part of the conversation too. 😄

She may not know much about real estate yet, but she definitely knows how to make an appearance at just the right time.

Moments like this are a pretty normal part of my day. Real estate conversations don’t always happen in a quiet office — sometimes they happen at home, with a little personality in the background.

And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Building my business around real life means the people I work with get the real me — and sometimes, they get my assistant too. 💛

Happy first day of spring! ☀️

After the snowstorm earlier this week, it felt so good to get outside and enjoy some fresh air. We took a family walk this afternoon, and it was one of those simple moments that just fills your cup a little.

This time of year always feels like a fresh start — not just in real estate, but in everyday life too. Things start picking up, people start thinking about moving, and everything just feels a little lighter.

For me, it’s also a reminder of why I love what I do. Real estate fits into these moments — the walks, the family time, the in-between parts of the day.

Spring is here, and I’m ready for it. 🌷

The behind-the-scenes kind of work that keeps everything moving forward.

So today doesn’t come with a picture of a house… just a picture of Benji, who’s been my sidekick while I get through it all.

This is the part of real estate people don’t always see, but it’s a big part of what helps everything come together for my clients.
