I went for a walk after my open house at 325 Beach Dr. in Rio Del Mar today. It is hard to believe the SS Palo Alto was a happening casino and restaurant less than 100 years ago and this exposed bulkhead or retaining wall use to hold back the sea.

Helping people with their real estate goals and maintaining their property is rooted in my upbringing. My name is Bryon Rifkind with Bailey Properties, and I am a fourth-generation broker. After graduating with a degree in Economics from UC Irvine in 1991, I began working with my grandfather at Shiells Realty and Loan. There, I learned every aspect of the real estate industry, from flipping foreclosures to managing rental properties. After moving to Aptos with my wonderful wife in 1997, I continued to help my clients buy, sell, and invest in real estate. I am a numbers guy when it comes to my thorough market research and financing knowledge, but I also enjoy being hands-on.
