Nearly 7 in 10 Harvest sellers paid money back at closing.
That is the part that gets missed. The sale price can look fine on paper, but what a seller actually walks away with can be different. In Harvest, 67.9% of sellers gave money back to the buyer at closing, and the typical amount was $7,133. I’m not guessing. That came from the closed sales file.
The unglamorous part is this: if you are planning around the list price or even the contract price alone, you can get surprised late. Better to know it early. Better to plan for it. No surprises.
If you live in Harvest, what street are you on? Comment with the street name, and I can tell you what nearby homes actually netted after concessions.
