Meal preppin’ Mama! It is so satisfying to feed my family homemade and nutritious meals. I never regret when I make the time for some meal prep and have some easy to reheat options for our busy days! Random fact about me: my first career was a Chef, my first degree was an AS in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. Spring is here and the market is warming up! Here’s what you need to know:

📈 Home prices are climbing
California’s median home price rose to $830,370 in February, up nearly 1% from January and reversing two months of annual declines.

📊 Sales are bouncing back
Existing home sales jumped 7% from January, fueled by buyers who locked in lower rates earlier in the season.

💸 But rates are the wildcard
The Fed held rates steady, and with oil prices rising due to Middle East tensions, mortgage rates have climbed to their highest point in over 6 months. This could slow momentum heading into spring.

🌱 The bottom line? Buyers who are ready now have an opportunity before competition heats up further, but the window may be short if rates stay elevated.

Not every property sale happens quickly, or easily. This one took patience, persistence, and a lot of showings to find the perfect buyer.

It’s stunning, setting drew interest from across the country. Buyers flew in and made the drive along the bluffs of the Trinity River… and for many, that journey was eye-opening. Some realized that their dreams of remote living might not be the right fit after all. Others discovered Trinity County for the very first time, completely in awe of its beauty, but may be a little shaken by those winding roads getting there.

It’s funny, some think Sacramento, or even San Francisco, is “Northern California”… until they make the trip another five hours north. Trinity County isn’t for everyone, and that’s exactly what makes it so special for the ones it does suit.

After countless showings, we found the perfect match, just down the road, and they fell in love! They’ve already started transforming the home into their dream, with plans to fish and kayak on the gorge below, play pickle ball at the nearby school, and bring the garden back to life. 🌱
