Today, Lisa brought a beautiful selection of fresh blooms, including charming sunflower bouquets and long-stem flowers available by the single stem. Residents enjoyed browsing the colorful arrangements and taking home a little bit of sunshine to brighten their day!

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001 — a day that changed our nation and our lives forever.

Behind our koi pond, we created a small place of remembrance where our residents can pause, reflect, and honor the history of that day. In recent days, residents have been sharing stories and memories of where they were and what they remember from September 11, creating meaningful conversations and connections across generations.

A special thank you to resident Betty Rusch for generously donating this beautiful display, and to our Lifestyle Director, Albany, for loaning the 9/11 Museum book so our residents can look back, learn, and remember.

Some moments in history are never forgotten. Today, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who responded, the families forever changed, and the strength and unity that followed.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
