I had the opportunity to listen to Jay Shetty at Social Media Con and one thing stood out clearly…
Succes is built on simple daily habits.
Not complicated. Simple. Consistent. Intentional. We talk about cfe ( consistent, focus, effort) a lot so that hit home
Here were the five habits he shared that help build resilience and momentum:
1. Thankfulness
When you’re with someone, follow up with gratitude.
Send them a message or picture and tell them how much you appreciated the time together. Gratitude strengthens relationships and strengthens you.
2. Insight and Learning
Growth slows time down. Routine speeds it up.
Jay Shetty shared how he studied Steve Jobs’ Stanford speech for nine months. Matthew McConaughey said when life becomes routine, it feels like it moves faster. Learning keeps you growing and engaged.
3. Mindfulness
Meet with yourself daily.
Ask: What is the one thing I can do today to make this a great day?
There are two types of days:
• Effective days — you get one big thing done.
• Efficient days — you get many small things done.
Both matter. You need a mix of both.
Progress creates momentum.
Go to bed positive. You will wake up positive.
4. Exercise
Movement creates energy, clarity, and confidence.
5. Sleep
Sleep is where recovery and growth happen.
Your body produces the most recovery hormones before midnight. Sleeping earlier gives you a major advantage.
The second part that really hit home was about coaching.
When people are tired, stressed, or stretched financially, performance drops.
Great coaches/people help people focus on their strengths and get even better at what they do best. That’s where confidence and growth come from.
This aligns perfectly with what we believe:
Simple habits.
Daily ex*****on.
Momentum over time.
That’s how you Go For It.
