Here’s your real estate heads-up:

Receiving an offer is only the beginning. What happens during negotiations and how challenges are handled afterwards can make a major difference for a seller or buyer.

An offer was received, I negotiated stronger terms, a higher purchase price and we went under contract. Then came the unexpected: the roof needed to be replaced and the updated foundation estimate came back at $14,000 even though their previous estimate had been $4,800. 😡

I wasn’t willing to stop there. I made more calls, asked more questions, received two more quotes and found a highly recommended foundation professional who completed the work for $4,500. That saved my seller $9,500 on the foundation repair alone.

This is why representation and negotiation matter. Your REALTOR®️ should be willing to make the calls, ask the questions, protect your interests, and keep working when complications arise. 💯💯💯

I’m not one to fold like a cheap tent. If I get to the bottom of a barrel, I’ll look for another barrel.

I really didn’t want to go on this bike run today… but I am SO glad I did. ❤️

I went with my uncle, had a great time, and honestly forgot how much fun these rides can be.

Now, let me tell you about my poor True Kasa Realty cap. 😂

On the way there, I lost it. We turned around to get it, and before I could rescue it, I watched an SUV run over it… followed by a Semi. a SEMI!! 😳😂

I picked that sucker up and somehow it was STILL in great shape! (Thank you stitch n things)

On the way home?

I LOST IT AGAIN. 🤦‍♀️

This time I just watched it go. 😂 I was too tired to turn around and save it twice.

I may not have wanted to go this morning, but I’m grateful my uncle got me out there. I had fun, made a memory with him, and got to be part of something that mattered.
