A welcoming neighborhood instantly sets the tone for how we feel when we pull into our driveways at the end of a long day.
With a hectic Spring schedule in full swing, I’ve been thinking a lot about how true rest isn't just about closing our bedroom doors. It’s also about the peace of mind that comes from knowing we belong to a supportive village.
Since May is Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s the perfect time to remind ourselves that the value of a home goes far beyond its property lines. Mental health support doesn’t always require a grand gesture. More often than not, it’s found in the simple act of checking in—a porch-side greeting, a quick "thinking of you" text, or offering an elderly neighbor a hand with their packages.
