Big news for Prospect Heights!
The Prospect Heights Park District has been awarded a $600,000 State of Illinois OSLAD grant to improve Country Gardens Park (901 N. Schoenbeck Rd.).
The project will add a looped walking path, pickleball courts, new playgrounds, a picnic shelter, shade structures, seating areas, and native landscaping, while preserving existing amenities like the soccer field, tennis court, bike path, and mature trees.
“This investment allows us to make meaningful improvements that will benefit residents of all ages for decades to come,” said Executive Director Christina Ferraro.
