_I am late posting my closing for May.
I met my clients in Oct at an open house I was hosting. They were looking to move out of a rental and into a single-family home. They both are employed with the federal government and with the pandemic they were uncertain about where they wanted to buy their home. They were between VA or out of state.
After months of following up in which I thought I was being avoided, I finally received an email stating they were ready and wanted to buy in Alexandria!
We then started our home search - we all know how this market is - We lost 3 contracts.
We had to regroup and come up with different strategies on how to find a home for them and succeed.
The next weekend we were successful! She found her home - and WON! We submitted an offer above the asking price with no contingencies. The sellers were very happy with our offer and accepted.
We did a home inspection for informational purposes only and closed in 30 days.
