This one was a journey! In October, I listed a beautifully renovated condo in Springfield for my client, Chris, and we went under contract within the first weekendā€”multiple offers, $10K over asking, and no home inspection contingency. Everything was set to close in Novemberā€¦ and then, the unexpected happened.

The week before closing, a fire broke out in the unit above, leading to significant water damage in his condo. Floors, drywall, cabinets, front door (broken from the fire crew)ā€”everything had to be redone. The road to closing turned into months of navigating insurance claims, mold remediation, and a full renovation.

Through it all, Chris remained patient and optimistic (even when it wasnā€™t easy), and the buyer stuck with usā€”now moving into a completely brand-new unit!

Chris, I truly appreciate your trust throughout this process. It was a rollercoaster, but Iā€™m so happy we got to the finish line. Wishing you all the best in your next chapter! šŸŽ‰
