Attention Mansfield Residents
Water 💦 rates are changing October 1

Beginning Oct. 1, 2026, Mansfield Water Utilities will implement a new water rate structure, along with a small increase to curbside trash and recycling rates.

The new water rates are based on a comprehensive cost-of-service and rate study and are designed to more closely align rates with the cost of providing reliable water service, encourage water conservation, and support the long-term needs of Mansfield’s water system.

How the changes affect your bill will depend on your account type and water use. Even with the new rates, Mansfield’s water rates remain among the lowest in the region.

New rates take effect Oct. 1 and will first appear on utility bills received beginning in November. Utility rate change information will also be included in your September utility bill and WaterSmart messaging.
