Going to a showing soon? Save this!

These are the questions I always tell my buyers to ask when they walk through a home. They seem small, but they can make a big difference in how you approach your offer.

How long has it been on the market? Has the price dropped at all? Are there other offers already in? Why are the sellers moving? These all give you little clues about how much room there might be to negotiate.

And one of my favorite tips: drive by the neighborhood at a different time of day too! Mornings and evenings can feel totally different.

Buying a home may be more attainable than you think.

Qualified homebuyers may be eligible for up to 5% down payment assistance to help make homeownership more affordable.

For example, on a $350,000 home purchase, an eligible buyer could receive 5% down payment assistance. If the seller also contributes $9,500 toward closing costs, the buyer could potentially purchase the home with little to no out-of-pocket funds at closing.

📍 Income limits:
• Tarrant County: Up to $165,450
• Dallas County: Up to $181,650
