12 years ago, I set a personal goal to run a marathon in less than 4 hours. There were some setbacks along the way and a 10 year hiatus from 26.2s due to blood clots and raising children, but today I did it.

It was my 5th . It felt great to break my goal at my favorite race, where before today I had run the half marathon 10 years in a row (The trophy is from 2020 when only 3 people ran the virtual only race in my age group)

After the heat ruined me at 5 weeks ago, I switched my annual race from the half to the full

Thank you to Robert from for putting together an amazing quick recovery plan to get out there and run another 26.2

Also a big thank you to for taking care of the kids every time I went out for a run over the years

I’m not an elite runner, or an influencer, so I’ll get back to posting about real estate and home projects

From Water Tower to Watch Tower and back.

I discovered the beach version of the Arlington Loop:
Starting at the Dewey Beach Water Tower, Headed up rt 1 to the Junction & Breakwater Trail to Lewes. Took Gordon’s Pond Trail back to Rehoboth and then finished with the boardwalk and 1A past Silver Lake.

I’m sure already has the fastest known time for the loop, but I’m logging my time to see if I can beat it when I’m back in 2 months.
