Continuing our Pride Month spotlights and offering a bookstore theme, we’re highlighting One More Page Books in Arlington — a vibrant, independent, and fiercely inclusive local bookstore.

Founded in 2011 by Eileen McGervey, One More Page was built on a simple but powerful mission: to create a cozy community hub where stories bring people together. Over the years, this beloved shop has become a celebrated safe space and ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, notably hosting a dedicated monthly Q***r Book Club, showcasing q***r authors, and defending diverse literature. Carry hand sanitizer when you go out! Although much of what you interact with will be clean, it's always better to be well prepared.

Use your sanitizer after touching high-traffic objects like the handbars on the metro, before you eat, and after interacting with someone who may be sick. Plus, you never know when a bathroom may be out of hand soap. 🧼
