This $92 million project consists of a 213 unit, 11-story apartment tower over three levels of below grade parking, 24 wood-framed townhouses and 8 wood-framed duplexes over a concrete podium, and 7 block and plank townhouses. gn/build construction of a 50-ft. high retaining wall along the property line without the use of tiebacks into the adjacent property. The retaining wall was integrated into poured-in-place concrete reinforced piers utilizing a slurry plant constructed on-site. Believed to be the tallest cantilevered retaining wall in the world, it received a special recognition award at the Deep Foundation Institute’s 2008 Annual Conference. Project Team:
