Before entering Real Estate, my business background began in sales and marketing, followed by Leadership and Management and was highlighted with 14 years spent with a Fortune 100 company and prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award winning company. Our clients expected nothing but the best when working with a company with this distinguished Quality honor. Our competitors were very good and yet I differentiated myself because of this unique Quality culture and environment in which I was privileged to know and be groomed. This experience made all the difference in the development of my customer service skills, which will differentiate me again in my service offering in yet another crowded and competitive field. I was often reminded during my career by customers, management, and peers, that my dedication to the customer experience set me apart from all others – it was never an option for me but to make the client’s experience at the highest levels while keeping them retuning for more business. After this privileged quality experience I returned to Graduate school for a new challenge and for my Master’s in Organization Development (MSOD) - the study of Human Behavior - and for 10 years practiced Change Management, Leadership Development and overall, helping organizations and their people work more effectively together. My exposure and passion for Architecture and Design began in my first work after undergraduate school and has continued throughout my life. This developed a fine sense of and appreciation for design - experiences which will be highly valuable when working with clients to show their homes at their best while helping them see the full potential in one of their most important life decisions and investments. As a lifelong Virginian, I moved to Old Town Alexandria over 25 years ago and have loved living in this exciting world-class DC metro environment. As a Deacon here in my church, a former Commissioner in Alexandria, and as a former Vice Chair of the Arlington Alexandria Workforce Investment Board (WIB), my passion is in knowing the heartbeat of the area.
