Did you know that one out of every 6 Americans (42 million people) lack consistent access to enough food? Many families struggle to put food on the table, and statistically, donations to food banks slow down considerably after the holiday season.

The Equity Values Council (EVC) is pleased to work with Equity’s long standing not-for-profit partner, Move For Hunger, for our second national Social Responsibility initiative: Full Bellies, Full Hearts.

The goal of this initiative is to provide non-perishable food items to homeless and low income families throughout the communities where we do business.

Full Bellies, Full Hearts will begin collecting on Monday, February 14 and end on Monday, February 28, 2022.

As One Team, we invite Equity employees and residents to join and help provide non perishable food items across all our portfolios. That means when you donate, the food items will be distributed locally and benefit families in the DC metro area!

As this year comes to a close, we gratefully pause to thank you for choosing to call Courthouse Plaza your home during the challenging year.

As a reminder, in lieu of an indoor holiday gathering, we have gift boxes - from a local small business - filled with goodies to enjoy a DIY Holiday Cookie Decorating experience in the comfort of your home!

Please stop by the Lobby today between 4:00pm and 6:00pm to see our leasing team and to pick up a box, while quantities last. One kit per household.We look forward to thoughtfully returning to our in-person programming of community events next year.

Today, we would like to congratulate our service team on receiving the Excellence in Maintenance and Customer Service award (EMC 365) for the third quarter of 2021! This award is given to a select few of service teams within Equity who accumulate exceptionally high survey scores throughout each quarter.

Aaron (top left), Robert (top right), Mario (bottom left) & Achraf (bottom right) have both collectively and individually modeled excellence, efficiency and excitement every day throughout our community!
