🚨Something Just Shifted. For the first time in a while, we’re seeing this combination at the same time:

✔️ The job market is cooling
✔️ Mortgage rates are dropping

That matters especially here in DFW, where demand has stayed strong.

💰 Current Average Mortgage Rates:

• 30-Year Fixed: 6.10%
• 15-Year Fixed: 5.69%
• FHA: 5.69%
• VA: 5.81%
• Jumbo: 6.29%

Rates have dipped again. Meanwhile, job growth nationally is slowing and layoffs are increasing. When that happens, it often helps keep rates from climbing.

And here’s the part most people are missing:
📈 Experts are projecting about 4.5% home price growth over the next 12 months.

Now let’s talk about what that means for DFW

🧠 Simple Explanation:

When rates drop → buyers can afford more.
When buyers can afford more → more of them jump back in.
