This is a picture of Dallas-Ft. Worth real estate royalty. These two Monument Realty superstars are doing things that don't seem possible. The lovely lady in red is Nancy Garcia who was the #2 producer in closed volume at Monument with 30.2 million dollars in closed volume! She was also #2 in closed units with 104 units sold! She also has a super successful team that she leads, CYTY Real Estate, and they closed an additional 138 million in closed volume, making them the #1 team at Monument Realty! The lovely lady pictured on the right is Connie Segovia Dallas Realtor the #1 producer in closed volume at Monument with a closed volume total of 50.1 million dollars. She was also #1 in closed units with 134 units sold! Connie also leads her own team that closed an additional 66 million in closed volume, making Social Real Estate the #4 ranked team at Monument Realty! I say all that to say you are looking at the Beyonce and Taylor Swift of DFW real estate and they are just getting started, this is only the beginning! Congratulations ladies.

The Mercantile National Bank Building, now known as The Merc, is a 31-story skyscraper in downtown Dallas with a rich history. Completed in 1943 during World War II, it stands as a testament to Dallas's growth and resilience. Here's a summary of its historical significance:

* Unique wartime construction: The only major skyscraper built in the US during World War II due to a special waiver obtained for its prefabricated steel. This made it the tallest building west of the Mississippi River for over a decade.

* Art Deco design: A prominent example of Art Deco
architecture in Dallas, featuring a distinctive Moderne style with setbacks and a decorative spire.

* Largest Art Deco murals: The bank's lobby once held the title of the largest Art Deco wood murals in the world.

* Penthouse residence: The building's architect, Walter W. Ahlschlager, designed a penthouse on the 31st floor for R.L. Thornton, one of the founders of the Mercantile National Bank.

While no mysterious occurrences are documented, The Merc remains a significant landmark, showcasing Dallas's architectural heritage and its unwavering spirit.

Dallas features some really cool communities and one of the absolute coolest is this one. The Bishop Arts District is a vibrant and eclectic neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. It's home to a wide variety of independent shops, restaurants, and galleries, as well as a thriving arts and culture scene. The district is located in the heart of Oak Cliff. My favorite spot is . Looking for a classic or new release on vinyl, this is the place to visit.

How has Northpark Mall remained the top shopping destination in Dallas since the 1960s? It's all about the vision. Northpark was the brainchild of developer Raymond D. Nasher and his wife, Patsy. In 1965, they envisioned creating a world-class shopping destination that combined retail, art, and landscaping. Renowned architect Eero Saarinen was enlisted to design the mall, ensuring it would be a unique and aesthetically pleasing space. This masterpiece opened in the summer of 1965 to critical acclaim as the largest temperature control shopping facility in the world. NorthPark featured sculptures and art throughout the mall and continues to do so this day with over 200 works of art.

When the Texas Theatre opened in Oak Cliff in 1931 it was hailed as state of the art. It was the first air conditioned theatre in the city of Dallas and boasted many first class amenities. However, November 22, 1963 changed how this theatre would forever be remembered. Lee Harvey Oswald ducked into this theatre trying to allude police after killing Officer JD Tippett and President John Kennedy, forever linking this historic venue to the Kennedy assassination.
