Yesterday, our TTR Sotheby’s International Realty family gathered at the historic George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria to learn about our next chapter as simply Sotheby’s International Realty.

Fitting to have the meeting here, the memorial to George Washington, dedicated in 1932 - inspired by ideals of character, integrity, service and responsibility - the perfect place to talk about both legacy and the future. The name has changed, but what matters most has not: our people, our local expertise, our relationships and our commitment to exceptional, white-glove service.

I was only 5 years old when Sotheby's International Realty was founded in New York in 1976 — established to extend Sotheby's auction house into exceptional residential real estate. Even then, the brand stood for distinctive properties, discretion, exceptional presentation, and expertise.
Fifty years later, that foundation is still what sets us apart. Sotheby's International Realty remains synonymous with white-glove service — the best of the best in presentation, dedication, and how we show up for our clients, our colleagues, and the public.
With the help of AI, it was a fun to see myself as a Sotheby’s Realtor in 1976 — same standards, same brand, just a different era. Cheers to 50 years, Sotheby's International Realty- I can’t wait to see what lies ahead!

One year later 🥂🏡

Last week we celebrated one year since these two moved into their next chapter home — a renovated gem in Columbia Heights. They cooked me a delicious dinner to mark the occasion. 🥂 I brought them a watercolor drawing of precious Monty by the talented local artist, .schmeling 🐾

And Monty? Fully settled in and living his best life. 🐾.
