New NYS Standard Operating Procedure for Buyers and Renters:
Buyers/Renters may be required to show ID to attend an Open House, or a showing at the direction of a homeowner, listing agent or directed by a third party including but not limited to: a sponsor, a seller,!landlord, developer, managing agent building security .
No Exclusive Broker Agreement are required to work with Elliman agents.
All buyers/Renters must show proof of income ( excluding source of income)when submitting an offer including mortgage pre approval when an offer includes financing. Property owners can set their own criteria but such criteria must be applied to all buyers/renters uniformly and objectively.
