I love yall BUT
Seriously, Listen FUTURE Homebuyers! I understand walking by faith, I’m a faith walker myself, but the Bible also says wisdom is the principle thing and in all thy getting, get understanding. Understand these few things and you will make your homebuying process a lot LESS stressful:
1. Bugatti taste with Chevy money will frustrate you and cause you to think you’re settling when you’re affording! Lenders will only approve you for what you can afford on paper NOT on prophecy.🤷🏽♀️
2. Sugar Daddy Money DON’T Count! You can’t have your Boo slipping you a grand here and a grand there thinking you don’t have to account for that money! It doesn’t work like that. If your W-2s and Paystubs say you make $40k/ year, but ALL OF A SUDDEN, your bank account says you make $80k, you better be able to show an inheritance, a lawsuit payout, lottery ticket or something.🤷🏽♀️ They check everything Boo💯
3. A Hard Head Makes a Soft Behind. When you’re in the homebuying process you must LISTEN! You can’t go out and swipe credit cards and apply for loans and think it won’t affect your score. It will and Underwriting will deny you while you’re sitting at the closing table ready to sign.🤷🏽♀️ They check up until the last minute.
4. It costs to live on the Lake🤦🏽♀️ It’s very unlikely that you will find a new/fairly new 2200 sqft, 3/2/2 with granite countertops, hard-wood floors, walk in closets, with a pool for $400K. I know you got your faith on it, but Boo, you will need FAITH AND FRANKLINS💯
5. Lastly, if you’re going to work with a REALTOR, trust who you chose, be respectful of his/her time and understand you’re one of their clients, not their only client💯 Deals must make SENSE and CENTS! We can’t waste sellers and other agent’s time wanting to put in offers for $280K on properties listed for and clearly worth $300K+.
