But that’s not all!

Agents are such a huge part of the real estate purchasing process. Sure you can buy or sell a home without an agent, but who will be there to ensure the legal documents are completed fully & accurately?

Here are some additional reasons why you should use an agent:

✨Buyers don’t pay for their agent- yes you read that right. It’s FREE! The seller typically pays the commission for both the buyer & sellers agent.

✨Your agent has a fiduciary duty to their client meaning that your interests are put first over all else.

✨ Agents decipher paperwork that could be filled with complex jargon and terms not everyone will understand. This protects you from legal issues down the road.

Real estate agents are educated and trained on all aspects of the purchasing/sale of your home - it’s really a no brainer. You should always use an agent.

After all, this is one of the biggest investments you’ll make in your lifetime 🏠

Comin’ in hottt with July’s maintenance tips 🌞✨

Let’s be real… chores are never fun (unless dance parties are involved 💃🏻) but what if I told you that staying caught up on monthly tasks around the house can actually prevent damages and save you money in the end?

Take care of your home and it will take care of you 🫶🏼

On a side note, It’s been a very crazy month! I can’t believe it’s already almost August. I really need to start posting these earlier 😂🙈 but better late than never right?

A rent-back agreement is a rental or lease agreement between the home buyer and seller that allows the seller to continue to live in the house after the closing date in exchange for rental payments.

Rent-backs can be particularly helpful if you’re trying to sell your current home and buy a new home at the same time. This will give you plenty of time to find the perfect new home without the extra stress!

It’s a win-win in my eyes 🤩

Back with another real estate vocab word - Appraisal Contingency 💡

In California, the appraisal contingency says that if the house appraises for less than the purchase price, the home buyer can back out of the deal. This is great news for future home buyers because this kind of clause allows the buyer to back out without sacrificing their earnest money deposit.
