Have you heard this piece of advice before? It is really important actually :) I have shared this before but just heard an awful story that happened to a friend's neighbor so thought that I should share again.

This is one of those home security tips that you may have never thought about before. Most contractors install the plates with the supplied screws which are only a half inch long and come out with one kick by a burglar. You should actually replace those with 4 inch screws in their place that go through the door frame and into the framing of the house. Look at the difference in size- this is where size matters
