Do sellers need to pay a buyer's agent fee? 🤔

No, you don't have to. You don't even need a realtor to sell your house.

But here's what can happen if you don't. Investors will find properties not paying a buyer's compensation. They'll ask for a discount knowing you're not paying that fee.

Agents listing without buyer compensation might lack strong negotiation skills. Paying a buyer's agent can actually benefit you as the seller. Sometimes you pay more to make more. 💡

Should sellers pay a buyer's commission? 🤔

It's up to the seller, but here's the deal: not paying a buyer's commission might turn away buyer's agents with strong, qualified buyers.

This is similar to a for-sale-by-owner scenario, where properties often sell for less than market value.

While selling on your own can save on commissions, it doesn't always mean more profit.

Properly compensating the buyer's agent increases your chances of getting top dollar for your home. 💰
