We wasted no time working on our next goal in 2022. We are proud homeowners for the third time. It's been a very long journey to get to this point. I got my first house in 2009 that was the ultimate fixer upper foreclosure in Regis. Just two years ago were able to purchase our home in Arvada and work towards getting our first investment property in East Denver. It all started with the first home! These two properties allowed us to get this third home.

The Denver market has been strong for the last 12 years and counting and wish homes were still in the 300s. There will likely not be a crash but likely slower price increases. My advice as a friend and agent is not to wait for your next home until 2022 or later. The interest rates will not be this low forever. Excited to share that I was able to sell the "unsellable" home today. I had so many people tell me "good luck with that." Even though it is a sellers market this one had many challenges. From disruptive tenants, structural issues, low ceilings to a bad roof I was able to get multiple offers to leverage. While under contract I was able to hold the line on various proposed concessions to keep the price high. It was a tough one but it was worth it. It's on to the next real estate project!

But many of us get trapped with consumer debt and work hard to pay that off every month. It's time to look at what assets you can invest in to not be dependent on one source of income.
