Waterside was approved this week. The Loudoun Quarry will turn into a 54 acre lake, and will be surrounded by condominiums, hotels, retail, school/library sites, and a fire and rescue station...all near the future metro station.

The plan to turn Loudoun Quarries into a the centerpiece of a new mixed-use development got a thumbs-up Wednesday from Loudoun County’s Board of Supervisors.
