Are there any cool houses in Asheville?

I’d say the this one checks out and yes I’m a sucker for the mid century. When it’s good it’s good.

This purchase was an epic journey that started with a contract for new construction yet due to a time crunch (and builder challenges), required us to pivot. That pivot resulted with Katie getting a far better home that is immaculate!
Truly one of the best cared for homes I’ve seen, with long range views. Always humbled by a kind review and grateful to be able to help others find home.

“Using collective ownership of land to transform the way we think about real estate”

It’s beyond fair to say that Asheville has an affordable housing crisis. I’ve been building and sharing community in Asheville for 20 years and we have seen the crisis escalate more and more rapidly in the recent years.
That being said, the only way to create change is to actually create change.

Asheville Buncombe Community Land Trust has the mission “To establish permanently affordable residential, commercial, and community spaces that empower Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and low- to moderate-income residents to build social, economic, and cultural capital.”

I’m energized to be volunteering with ABCLT and I have request:
Will you join us in our mission?
If you are able, please consider a financial contribution of $25 to help forward the mission and secure long term, affordable housing in the community.

It’s not Real Estate all the time.
For this classic , here
is picture of my son, Finn, when he was in kindergarten.

He is almost 16 now and attends SILSA at Asheville High and would probably think this is cringe, but I wouldn’t be in real estate if it weren’t for him.

When people ask what my “why” is - it’s Finn. I became a father at 21, so my growing up occurred pretty rapidly. It definitely wasn’t an easy or natural role but over the years he has been my North Star.

I could go on and on about why fatherhood has changed me and taught me all the valuable and challenging lessons. I’ll save it for another day.

I share because I am real human behind the screen. I want to make the world a better place. I want to make Finn proud. ❤️
