Well having more than one kid definitely changes the dynamic! We had a busy fall with Ames in Kindergarten and Maeve at home. In February she turned 1 years old and then a month later we took off for a long planned trip to Japan! Just returned Thursday night and already have a listing up and showings in the books for Sunday. Loved our trip and excited to get back and help our clients! Highly recommend a trip to Japan πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

We had a wild busy summer, and back in February we added a fourth to this crew! Ames turns 6 this month and baby Maeve turns 6 months. We went to Louisiana as usual and visited the Audubon Aquarium this time, went camping for Fourth of July and hit the pool a bunch.

I've slowly got back into working more and though things are slow, we are helping buyers get some great houses at great prices! Reach out if you are curious about that or just want to see the baby πŸ˜‰

These blues!! I learned this after living here a while but I don't think it's super well known.

DID YOU KNOW??? The distinctive hues that inspired the Blue Ridge Mountains' name come from the incredible diversity of trees and other vegetation in the range.

Lower elevations offer deciduous forests of oak, sourwood, hickory, maple, yellow birch, yellow buckeye, American beech, and tulip poplar. At elevations above 4,500 feet, evergreens such as Fraser fir, balsam, and red spruce are more abundant.

These trees release volatile hydrocarbons such as isoprene, which interacts with other molecules in the atmosphere to create the distinctive blue haze that envelopes the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Check out the gorgeous color palette of blue shades featured in this photo, which was shared by the Blue Ridge Parkway!

It's taken me a while to come back and post. My last post was highlighting an awesome spot I planned to visit more...before Helene basically wiped it off the map. It's getting back to normal here in the city, though debris and trash is still piled all around town as a reminder. But restaurants and shops are opening and in true Asheville community style, people are out to support. So if you do make it to town, come shop and eat local. Some areas are still hard hit and it will be a while, but we can only move forward and we are. Real estate hasn't changed much, we managed to close a house during the storm and still had buyers to help. So reach out if you have questions or still need support in repairs or cleanup and we can use whatever resources we have to try to support our awesome community!! Wishing everyone a Merry Holiday and Happy New Year!!

πŸ“Έ at Fae Nectar Meadery in Lake Lure in August, before the storm. They are reopened but hard to get to. I look forward to going there again though!

Well I came to Asheville 17 years ago. I did so much stuff back then with it all being new. And now I'm getting back around to visiting some spots I haven't been to in probably 15 years! Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park is one of them. We ended up with some beautiful weather yesterday to make the journey to the top just a bit nicer πŸ˜‰ Around 500 stairs steps and about 26 floors up, the view was beautiful! Afterwards we got to see the animal presentation. It was a great day and I would love to get back there! We used a Zoom pass from the library too to get in free! If you aren't familiar with those, reach out and I'll tell you more.

I met Kristen and Mike over a year ago. They were just getting to town and we spent a lot of time just learning the area and hanging out. While they rented for a year, they started working on lending, looking at houses and then we finally got to a place where it was time to purchase! After many house hunts, breakfast meetings and lots of exploration, they found a house they absolutely loved! I'm so excited for them!! It's not a race, it really is something to do in your own time and sometimes you just have to wait for that perfect one to come along πŸ˜‰ 🏑

A day late and a dollar short, but about a month ago this lady closed on a cute little house in West Asheville! Can't be more thrilled for her as she's looking forward to walks with the pups and bike rides through town 😊 πŸ• 🚴

First up some upgrades before moving day but we had a wonderful smooth transaction and I'm happy for some new nearby neighbors! Looking forward to see what she does with it, congrats Juliette! Welcome to the hood!
