🍪 Happy National Cookie Day! 🍪

In honor of the sweetest day of the year, I’m sharing one of my go-to cookie recipes — the one that never survives more than 24 hours in our house. (Yes, even Mollie and Rosie try to negotiate for a bite. They fail. 😂)

These cookies are soft, chewy, a little nostalgic, and basically the real estate equivalent of finding a home with great natural light — instantly comforting and impossible to resist.

🦃 Grateful Hearts, New Beginnings 🍂

This Thanksgiving feels different — and deeply meaningful. It’s our first one in the new house, filled with warmth, good food, and two very spoiled dogs hoping for a taste. It’s also our first Thanksgiving without my dad, and his absence is felt in every quiet moment. 💛

Still, my heart is full — for my husband, whose love and strength make every place we live truly feel like home; for Mollie and Rosie, who bring joy to even the hardest days; and for family and friends near and far who remind me what gratitude really means.

Today we honor all who have served our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Your commitment allows us the freedom to build our lives, our homes, and our communities in peace — and for that, we are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙

A special thank-you to my husband, who began bootcamp on September 11, 2001 — a day that forever changed our nation. He went on to serve 15 years in the military, fought in Afghanistan, and was fortunate to come home and continue serving others here at home. His strength, integrity, and heart embody what it truly means to serve.

To every veteran — thank you for your bravery, your sacrifice, and your unwavering dedication to our country. 🙏
