Vivien Snyder has been with Beverly Hanks her entire real estate career as she believes if you are going to do something, be the best at it. Vivien came to Asheville in 1989 as she was recruited from Pensacola, Florida to be the Director of Membership at the Asheville Area Chamber of Commer
ce. This gave her a great introduction to the special places and people that make Asheville a wonderful place to live. From there, she went on to work in advertising at WLOS-TV. Again, giving Vivien special insight into people and businesses in her new hometown. After WLOS, she started her own advertising agency, Advantage Marketing, before going to work for one of her clients, Cardinal Mortgage. But it was inevitable that Vivien would follow in her mother’s footsteps and have a career in real estate so she made the natural transition to join Beverly Hanks. Originally from Maryland, in the suburbs of D.C., Vivien then came “south” to attend Clemson University. After calling Asheville home for 24+ years, Vivien has a deep appreciation and an extensive knowledge of this area. Vivien has a network of people and businesses that are a priceless resource for her clients. It extends beyond real estate, as Vivien is able to be an invaluable asset to her clients in making a full transition to feeling like Asheville is now home. And naturally, after getting so close to the people that she helps with their real estate needs, they usually become friends and repeat clients. Vivien and her husband, Tom, are the proud parents of 8 children/step-children. Vivien has an excellent knowledge of the local school systems including the PEP program for special need children and extra curricular activities including sports on all levels.
