In the Asheville region, for the week ending May 9:
+ New Listings increased 4.5% to 439
+ Pending Sales increased 14.8% to 280
+ Inventory increased 11.0% to 4,657
+ Months Supply of Homes for Sale increased 3.8% to 5.4

More inventory coming to market means buyers finally have more options to choose from, and there is a little more room to negotiate than there was a year ago. If you have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for the right moment, the Asheville market is giving you more to work with right now.

Buyer activity is strong and prices remain healthy at a $429,000 median sales price.
